2008 Thrivent Volunteers on Building with Habitat From The State News

While State News Reporter Hannah Engelton learned more about homeowner Teresa Snead last summer, she also got to know Jane Braatz and Charlie Finkel. Jane has been volunteering with us for over four years now, leading three of our Thrivent projects. Charlie has been working with us as a contractor, volunteer, and now our Construction Supervisor. They were both interviewed by Hannah and their stories can be seen in this video.

2008 Thrivent Build Featured by State News

State News reporter Hannah Engelton spent last summer following then-future-homeowner Teresa Snead as she prepared to move out of her rental home and into her new Habitat home. This video slideshow features Teresa's experiences leading up to moving in.

Our 2008 Thrivent home was completed and dedicated in the fall. It's a beautiful 2-story home for the Snead family of five. The following local Lutheran churches sponsored the home: Ascension, Faith, Grace, Messiah, Redeemer, St. Matthew, St. Paul, St. Stephen, University, All Saints, Calvary, Christ, and St. Luke.
